In February I had an opportunity to participate in a half-year examination that took place at the Department of Jewelry at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. I was allowed to choose three best works and reward their creators with an interview for Jewelry Design. So by this way I have an honor to present to you a movie which will allow you to get to know Adam Kaczmarek closer.

Adam graduated from the Jacek Malczewski Art School in Czestochowa, and is currently a student of the third year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. His jewelry varies and changes from year to year, projects are becoming more deliberate and the desire to surprise the recipient with clever, fine accents is more and more visible in them. The ring, which he presented at the exam, consisted of black and white plexiglass – a very interesting procedure was weaving a colorless layer of the same material into the ring. Jewelry has a strong optical, almost graphic impact and when it seems to us that we almost reach to the heart of the project, the various elements of the ring start moving.

At the end, a few more designs by the artist. If someone wants to get familiar with the author, you can do so HERE
