International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones – Amberif 2015
Last week International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones – Amberif took place in Gdańsk – one of the biggest fares of this type in Poland. This event is held regularly every year and is addressed to persons and buisnesses who trade in jewellery, jewellery art and functional art only. Thus facilitating the establishment of contacts: manufacturer – wholesaler. While at the same time, retail clients are separated from the place where they could meet the designs of less popular brands, the existence of which they are often not aware of.
This year’s event hosted more than 480 companies, including non-Polish, involved in the production of jewelry, gemstones distribution machines. In addition, due to the nature of Gdansk – amber was almost omnipresent.
At the same time, a number of accompanying events took place, including among others: seminars, exhibitions, competitions and annual Amber and Fashion Gala – The Amber Look Trends & Styles.
Particularly interesting exhibition Gdańsk Baltic Amber Biennale 2015 was opened in at the Museum of Amber. It was attended by artists from around the world, including: Ramon Puig Cuyas from Spain, Jacek Byczewski from Poland, Carme Roher from Spain, Sławomir Fiałkowski from Poland, Philip Salet from the Netherlands, Nelly Van Oost from Belgium and many others.
This exhibition will be open until April 24, 2015 at the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk, from April 29 to June 7 at the Gallery of Art in Legnica, and in October 2015 it will be available in Villa de Bondt Gallert in Belgium.
Since I had the opportunity to participate in the Fair, I prepared for you an overview of the most interesting products, compiled according to global trends foreseen for 2015.
